This picture was taken about the end of 1980 or 1981. My garage/workshop had been burned down on Easter Sunday morning 1980 destroying the cars I had been repairing, my tools and all my equipment. The old cottage we had been renting out to a young couple was damaged (the chimneys can be seen above the roof of the mobile school classroom) and the old classroom was slightly scorched.

You can see that I used some of the quite small amount of insurance money I had for rebuilding my workshop to extend the old classroom by building two large bedrooms for our eight girls.
