This is a section of the dividing or party wall between our hallway in No. 56 Carlisle Park, Ballynahinch and the living-room of No. 54 Carlisle Park, Ballynahinch, after our 'skin' of biscuit blocks was removed to try to expose the source of the coal smoke leakage into our home. This is the sort of 'building' Council inspectors, NHBC inspectors and grant inspectors from Stormont passed as legal! This was why our almost new home was polluted with coal-smoke from the house next door, No. 54 Carlisle Park, Ballynahinch, and why our fire on the other side of our house polluted No. 58 Carlisle Park, Ballynahinch through a similar defective party wall built with biscuits. I closed my own fireplace up completely, but my neighbour in No. 54, a full-time fireman, refused to even let me pay to have his fireplace repaired.
