A typical SDLP reaction to our protests.
On a cold November night Gemma and I and some of our children stood outside the entrance to the Forum Hotel in Belfast as members of the SDLP entered to take part in their annual Conference. We had our usual placards of protest. On this occasion there was also a photographer from the Irish Press newspaper. This picture was chosen by the Irish Press for publication and is a typical SDLP response to our reqests for help. Seamus Mallon, then MP, never answered my letters either.
