First of all here is my letter to the former Prime Minister dated 28/11/2006.

Mr. John McGrllen Down District Council's Chief Executive Officer is a cousin of mine. His grandmother and my mother were sisters.
Contrary to what Mr. McGrillen stated in this letter to the Prime Minister, the houses to which I was referring were NOT built under the Bye Laws made by Downpatrick Rural District Council in 1958. According to a Parliamentary Written Reply obtained by Dr. Ian Paisley MP, the houses I was referring to, including my own former defective property, being privately owned houses, were built under the Housing (Owner Occupation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1956. It just also happens that these houses I was referrng to, including my own former defective dwelling, did not even comply with the Bye Laws referred to by Mr. McGrillen.
